📦 UK Delivery

We aim to ship all UK orders the next working day (Monday to Friday), though some may take 1–3 days to process. Once your parcel is on its way, you’ll receive a dispatch email with tracking details — if it doesn’t appear, please check your spam folder just in case.

We send all parcels via Royal Mail 48 as standard, with an option to upgrade to Royal Mail 24 at checkout if you’re in a hurry.

🇺🇸 USA Delivery

We’re delighted to send parcels across the pond! All US orders are shipped via Royal Mail (delivered through USPS or UPS), with most parcels arriving within 3–10 working days. Occasionally, shipping may take up to 17 days — especially around holidays like Black Friday or Christmas.

💡 To get the most out of your shipping, we suggest combining orders with a friend or stocking up on favourites — it makes delivery more cost-effective!

📦 USA shipping is duty-free for personal orders under $800.

We take great care in packaging every candle and piece with love — but if something arrives damaged, please send us a photo of the item and packaging to info@talesfromthemeadow.co.uk, and we’ll happily arrange a replacement or full refund.

To enjoy your candle safely and fully, we recommend following these gentle care tips

A Few Simple Rituals for a Beautiful Burn

1. Let the first burn set the memory.
   On your first light, allow the entire surface of the candle to melt from edge to edge. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even, long-lasting burn.

2. Trim the wick before each use.
   Keep your wick around 5mm to avoid smoke and ensure a clean, steady flame.

3. Don’t burn right to the bottom.
   When only 1cm of wax remains, it’s time to say goodbye. Burning beyond this point may overheat the jar and cause it to crack.

4. Burn for no longer than 3–4 hours at a time.
   This keeps your candle safe and steady. Always place it away from draughts, heat sources, and anything flammable — and never leave a burning candle unattended.

   Additional Candle Safety Tips

   • Always keep candles in sight while burning.
   • Extinguish before leaving a room or going to sleep.
   • Burn candles well away from flammable materials such as fabrics, paper, or decorations.
   • Keep out of reach of little hands and paws.
   • Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
   • Avoid burning near open windows, vents, or fans.
   • Burn in well-ventilated spaces — not too many at once in small or air-tight rooms.
   • Never move a candle while the wax is melted.
   • If burning more than one candle, leave at least 3 inches between each one.
   • If your candle flickers, smokes, or the flame grows too tall, extinguish it. Let it cool, trim the wick, and relight once conditions are safe.
   • And lastly, never use a candle as a night light.
